This is a signed first edition, first printing of Todd Hido’s first monograph “House Hunting” published by Nazraeli Press, Tucson in 2001 in a limited edition of 2000. This lavishly produced book was immediately hailed by the critics as a major work. Artforum stated, “In House Hunting, Hido's award-winning first monograph, his images of deserted houses "exude an eerie stillness shrouded in the atmospheric light of wintry dusk or the motionless darkness of late evening Hido's instincts for composition and light are masterful".
Containing 26 spectacular 4 color plates (many of them double page); the book is a hardcover in a photographically illustrated dust jacket and measures approximately 14” x 17”. Both the book and dust jacket are in FINE condition.
The book is boldly signed on the first free endpaper by Todd Hido
